This program begins with a tour of the most important highlights of the city of Cusco and the Sacred Valley from a new perspective, that of Inka Traces. But the most interesting aspect of this program is the fact that we will enter Machu Picchu by the back door of this majestic Inka city, boarding the village of Ollantaytambo and heading for the jungle of Cusco, passing through the village of Santa Teresa. Along the way you will enjoy the beautiful and imposing landscapes and villages of this zone.By taking this journey, you will avoid the conventional format of arriving at the same time with large groups of tourists.
While you are in the city, in addition to getting to know the most important attractions, you will become acquainted with the real Cusco. At the end of the city tour, we will enjoy a typical lunch in the home of a local resident. In the following days we will visit the Sacred Valley, but in an unconventional manner, visiting traditional and historical villages like Chinchero, which possesses a beautiful colonial church dating from the 18th Century. If desired, you can also visit the village of Willoq Patacancha to become acquainted with its culture, its manner of dress, and its people; or you can optionally explore the imposing ruins of Huchuy Qosqo.
