ITINERARY
Day 01
We drive to the Capachica peninsula, place where you will have the chance to share part of the daily activities of the Quechua – Aymara people of the area, that means to help them on the collection on firewood, look after the livestock, fish along with them, cook with them, etcetera.
Overnight at one of the local’s house.
Day 02
We Sail through the Lake Titikaka towards the Amantani Island, where we will have a great reception by the local islanders and their families which will give shelter and company during our staying till the following day. On the afternoon after lovely lunch we hike to the top of a local mountain called Pachatata, from where we will appreciate the immensity of the lake Titikaka on its real magnitude.

Day 03
Early morning we sail to Taquile Island, considered as world heritage site for the beauty and complexity of their textiles. We will take a walk by some paths used since pre-inkan times, We get to the main square and on its vicinities we will have a typical local lunch, finally on the afternoon we will return to Puno, on the way we stop at the Uros floating Islands, made from a local reed known as totora, you will also see the way of living of these ancient inhabitants of the Lake Titikaka.
Day 04
Today by the morning we head to one of the most ancient pre-Columbian cemeteries in Peru, Sillustani place where you will observe the singular funeral architecture used the early inhabitants from this part of Peru. As well enjoy the spectaculars views of the Umayo Lake characterized for its calm y particular beauty. We continue our trip to Juliaca where you will take your plane to get back to Lima.
